A Gandhi museum opens in New Jersey.

In Atlantic City, in the United States, a museum honouring the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi has recently opened.

The museum, which was officially opened this past weekend, features interactive multimedia screens and artefacts that allow visitors to follow the events of the apostle of peace's life. Renowned members of the Indian American community, including Randhir Jaiswal, India's consul general in New York, attended the event.

It is the first museum honouring the "father of the nation" in the USA, created by the Gandhian Society of New Jersey in collaboration with the Aditya Birla Group. According to a press statement, the museum will collaborate with the Martin Luther King Foundation to exhibit the lives and messages of the two greatest individuals of the modern era.
